How Does INFINI RF Work?
The INFINI RF device combines microneedling and radio frequency into one hand piece to address a variety of skin issues. Microneedling on its own is an effective way to address skin condition such as acne scarring, stretch marks, laxity, sagging, fine lines and wrinkles. During Tx: During treatment it is normal to feel pressure and heat in the treated area. The treatment may cause more discomfort depending on the person and area. The area is treated pulse by pulse in order to ensure accuracy and comfort. Treated skin will feel warm and sensitive immediately following the treatment; much like a mild sunburn, this will subside within a short period of time right after treatment.
After Tx: Skin will have minor redness, swelling, heat and sensitivity; similar to a sunburn. A cool compress can be applied to the area during this time. Pin point scabbing is also common. You will be advised to apply a specific home care products to help boost the treatment and preserve improvements. It is imperative that the area stays as moisturized as possible, and should not be exposed to the sun.
Will I Need More Than One Treatment?
To see a substantial improvement with your skin, like any treatment and depending on the individual’s needs, 1 to 3 sessions may be required. Treatments will normally be scheduled for every 6-8 weeks, because this treatment works within the tissues of the skin, improvements will not be immediately evident. Final result from the treatment can take up to 3 months to appear on the surface. Home care maintenance with collagen and hyaluronic acid serums, avoiding sun exposure in the area, and applying SPF can help to preserve the progress made. For most people, the effects can last up to a few years.
Can INFINI RF Treat All Skin Types?

What Are The Side Effects?
The downtime for this type of treatment is minimal. Most clients experience mild swelling and redness in the treated area for up to 3 days following the treatment. It is also common for the treated area to feel warm immediately following the treatment. While it is in the process of healing, you may experience itchiness, tightness, and dryness. It is also common to see pinpoint redness and/or scabbing in the treated area; these should be left alone, as it will resolve itself naturally within a few days. It is imperative during this point in the healing process to apply the homecare products provided to you to help keep the skin with what it needs to properly heal.
Will I Be Restricted From Activities Following Treatment?
Following the treatment it is important to avoid sun and excessive heat for about 2 weeks afterwards. You should not subject the area to saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, or any other forms of heat as it will compromise the natural healing process. Showers should be kept at a cool temperature. While the surface skin may appear totally normal, the dermis is still healing at this time, to apply excessive heat can negatively affect the results of the treatment, and usually causes hyperpigmentation.
Avoid any form of exfoliators such as scrubs, enzymatic scrubs, at home exfoliators, mechanical or chemical exfoliators for 4 weeks after the INFINI RF treatment.
Products with active ingredients such as: retinols, benzoyls, alcohol astringents, vitamins C/E/A, and any other forms of AHA’s and BHA’s must also be avoided 4 weeks after INFINI RF treatment, use of these products before the skin is fully healed can cause adverse effects. It is also advised to avoid physical exercise until the redness and swelling is subsided in the area, which can take up to 72 hours. For some patients, redness and swelling may take longer to subside.
